Actions of IDEM will be monitored by the project Coordinator, who will be assisted by an in-house Coordination Team and external advisors. The advisors will include: Paul Snelgrove (Director of NSERC Canadian Healthy Oceans Network - CHONe), Philippe Cury (Scientific coordinator of European Marine Research Network - EuroMarine), Matthew Gianni (Steering of Deep Sea Conservation Coalition - DSCC) and Kristina Gjerde (high seas policy advisor for the IUCN Global Marine Program).

This close collaboration among different networks will ensure a continuous exchange of ideas, protocols and procedures.

The Coordinating Team will include a Technical advisor for all issues related with the MSFD implementation needs and an Administrative advisor dedicated to the project administration. The limited time available for the project will oblige all partners to tightly respect deadlines for release of the deliverables.
